The world’s greatest Pokémon master is in you! In celebration of the anticipated Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl video games, The Wand Company wants Pokémon fans to discover their inner Ash by providing the first necessary tool — a high-tech Poké Ball!

The company is continuing its line of interactive Poké Ball replicas — which first launched last fall — with some new styles, starting with a Dusk Ball replica.

When collectors open the Pokémon Dusk Poké Ball’s case, a light from within the case illuminates the iconic green-and black-metal shell as a platform rises to display the replica. You can even adjust the light by simply touching the name plaque on the front of the case and cycling through seven different hue options.

Just like Poké Balls in the Pokémon universe, this Poké Ball also lights up when it senses motion and glows even brighter when touched. As with previous styles in this collection, you can activate a Pokémon-catching sequence by pressing the button on the front of the Poké Ball. Double-clicking the button changes the light color! Each Dusk Ball replica is also numbered with a hologram tag on the box and is licensed officially by The Pokémon Company International.

The Dusk Ball is available to preorder now from a variety of retailers, with delivery expected later this year. Additional Poké Balls from the die-cast replica series will be on display this weekend at MCM London Comic Con, including this year’s holiday season Premier Ball replica and the first replica for next year, the Heal Ball.
