At-Home Aerobics from the ’80s and some of your favorite collectible companies have collided — just when you thought this year couldn’t get any weirder.

Wildbrain CPLG is working with Plaster Partners LLC to bring Richard Simmons into the world of licensing in North America, with products coming soon from companies including NECA, Funko, Mad Engine, Pyramid, TF Publishing, Fun.com, and Super Impulse. Meaning: Yes, we’re probably going to get a Richard Simmons Funko Pop! figure.

The flamboyant exercise guru will soon be found on accessories, food and drinks, footwear, publishing items, health and beauty, social stationery, apps, and of course, fitness and sporting goods. The first round of products will be ready by the holidays, so you now have something for literally anyone on your list.

Richard Simmons is best known for his encouraging quotes and high-power workout videos from the 80s. He brought a positive outlook and iconic short-shorts to the nostalgic genre of aerobic videos — most of which you can catch on YouTube right now.

Nicole Savas

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
