Big news just keeps coming from the Microsoft X019 event in London!

New content is on the way from Square Enix for the Xbox family of devices, spanning both the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy franchises.

Check them each out below!

Kingdom Hearts III Free Demo

Make sure you’re ready for the Kingdom Hearts craze with a free demo on any Xbox device or the Playstation 4. It’s a free release that can save the data at the end, so you can buy the full edition — available now through Nov. 22 for a 67% discount — and not have to start over again. The game follows two different Disney worlds. In Hercules, players have to defeat Rock Tita. In Toy Story, they team up with Buzz and Woody to defeat the Heartless and explore Galaxy Toys.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMIX

Sora, Donald Duck, Goofy, and more memorable Disney characters are on an adventure of a lifetime as they race to save multiple Disney universes from the Heartless invasion. Players must save the Kingdom Hearts from darkness in this game, set to release next year.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue

Also being released next year, this game starts with a fragmentary passage called Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep. Following that is a brand-new playable story that leads up to Kingdom Hearts III. It’s told from Aqua’s perspective and is sure to offer exciting twists and turns. In this release, there will also be a movie that tells the mysterious story of the foretellers and connect the early history of series with everything else that has been released.

Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy

Xbox Game Pass is Xbox’s subscription service that allows players access to a ton of games for a monthly subscription cost (ranging from $4.99-14.99). Next year, subscribers will have access to nine different Final Fantasy titles anytime they want. Here are all the titles you’ll be able to find:

  • Final Fantasy VII;
  • Final Fantasy VIII Remastered;
  • Final Fantasy IX;
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster;
  • Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age;
  • Final Fantasy XIII;
  • Final Fantasy XIII-2;
  • Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII; and
  • Final Fantasy XV

Between this and new consoles, next year is looking like it will be great for video games.
