Stan Lee

What Marvel fan wouldn’t want to live on Stan Lee Way?

Well, thanks to a Bronx city council meeting on Tuesday, that’s about to be a real possibility. The council voted to approve a proposal to rename a portion of University Avenue in the Bronx, New York, in honor of the late Marvel Comics creator.

The specific portion to be renamed will be between Brandt Place and West 176 St. This particular area was selected because it is where Lee lived with his family during his high school years. The name change was part of a bill passed by lawmakers that also included 85 other honorary street names.

At this point, the proposal just needs the mayor’s signature.
