More Star Wars figures are coming — thank the maker!

Popular Star Wars cartoon series like The Bad Batch and The Clone Wars wouldn’t be around without the success and inspiration from the Clone Wars 2D Micro-Series, which originally aired on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s. Known for its zany animation style, this series introduced major characters including General Grievous and set the stage for the prequels. Now, it’s shifting from the Disney+ screen right onto collectors’ shelves, thanks to Hasbro.

There are many Clone Wars 2D Micro-Series characters joining Hasbro’s 6-inch Star Wars: The Black Series collection, and there will be a new 3.75-inch Vintage line dedicated solely to the micro-series. Jumping out of hyperspace and into the Black Series are icons including ARC Trooper, Mace Windu, and General Grievous. The Vintage Collection will be made up of Aalya Secura, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, ARC Trooper Captain, ARC Trooper, and Battle Droid. The Jedi figures come with their respective lightsabers, while the ARC Troopers and Droid include weapon accessories that the figures are able to hold.

This new Vintage line’s packaging is also a blast from the Star Wars past — It’s decorated with beautiful artwork from the show! The Black Series characters have a throwback theme, too, as the packaging will feature new deco inspired by the vibrant style of the Clone Wars 2D Micro-Series.
