It’s time to return to a galaxy far, far away.
Asmodee and Fantasy Flight Games announced their new expansion to Star Wars: Outer Rim. In this expansion, titled Unfinished Business, players explore the Star Wars universe on a galactic scale by more than doubling the number of cards in the game.
The expansion also introduces beloved characters such as Chewbacca and Dengar to the player roster, and brings on new ships, jobs, gear, bounties, dice, and encounters. In addition, the game brings the Core Worlds to the gameboard, allowing players to travel from one end to the other. However, beware the Core Worlds — they are controlled by the Empire and can be difficult to travel in.
Unfinished Business includes “favors” and “ambitions,” two optional rules that change the way Star Wars: Outer Rim can be played and won. “Favors” give each player a debt token that can be traded at any point for a favor, while “ambitions” change the winning conditions by requiring a series of completed goals.
The Unfinished Business expansion of Star Wars: Outer Rim will be released June 10 at participating retailers worldwide. Players can preorder the game now on the Asmodee store.
