Cue the Imperial March, because game night is heading to the Dark Side!
Today, Ravensburger revealed that the next title in its popular Villainous board game series will be Star Wars-themed. In Star Wars Villainous: Power of the Dark Side, gamers can choose to play as Darth Vader, Asajj Ventress, Kylo Ren, Moff Gideon, or General Grievous.
This game will utilize the same game system as previous Villainous titles, with players using their character’s powers, strategic leadership, and/or luck in an attempt to fulfill that villain’s specific ambition. The game will also incorporate familiar visuals from the Star Wars galaxy, such as iconic locations and beloved starships. There will also be some new gameplay elements that are more specific to the Star Wars brand. Like other Villainous games, this title will include sculpted movers that represent each of the villains.
Star Wars Villainous will be available this August at major retailers and game stores. It is designed for 2-4 players and the price has not been announced at this time.
