Stitch first crashed his way through classic Disney movies more than 18 years ago, promoting the debut of Lilo and Stitch. Now, throughout this year, fans can collect new merch inspired by his antics.
The Stitch Crashes Disney collection will feature the loveable alien forcing his way into different Disney classics. It begins with a celebration of the 30th anniversary of Beauty and the Beast. The first release in the series will include Stitch decorated with the iconic roses and stained-glass artwork from the princess film.
Fans can find the first collection on shopdisney.com’s MerchPass starting on Jan. 12 at 7 a.m. PST, then at all domestic Disney parks on Jan. 16. The MerchPass drop will include a Stitch plush, a pin, and an exclusive MagicBand. Limited film-inspired mugs and T-shirts will also be available from shopDisney on the Thursday after each MerchPass sale.
Each month, Disney will add something new to this mash-up, so be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog and this link often. So far, we can expect tp Stitch to crash into Lady and the Tramp, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Pinnochio, and Aladdin. Remember, Ohana means family and family means you have more people to ask for money for merch.
