It’s time to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary!

Citizen, the official developer of timepieces for the Walt Disney World Resort runDisney Races, is launching a new line of Disney watches in celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary. The collection, aptly named The Disney100 Collection, includes timepieces with Disney Princess characters, Villains, Mickey & Fiends, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Star Wars characters.

Last month, Citizen began their commemorative campaign by releasing one watch alongside a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the original dial designs, story background and insights, and character trivia.

The entire collection will be available for purchase month-by-month this year and will feature some magical pieces, each inspired by a different decade of Disney’s history.

The full lineup of watches includes:

  • The Steamboat Willie Box Set: Go all the way back to the ‘20s with this watch, which is designed after the first cartoon short to feature synchronized sound. The special edition 40-millimeter watch features a silver-toned stainless steel case, gold-tone accents and markers, a matching collectible pin, a Disney100 case back, and a black crocodile-embossed leather strap.
  • Disney Donald Duck Watch: Make your way through the ‘30s with a watch featuring this fan-favorite Disney character, first seen in The Wise Little Hen in 1934. The 42-millimeter watch features a design of Donald Duck confronting a shark and is set in a tone-on-tone navy blue dial with a navy blue leather strap and contrast yellow stitching on a silver-tone stainless steel case.
  • Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Watch: Celebrate the ‘40s and the memorable debut of Fantasia, a film that was so ahead of its time with sound quality that theatres had to be equipped with special sound systems to showcase the movie. This 40-millimeter watch features a gold-tone finished bezel with a matching stainless steel bracelet and a gold-tone crown. The dial has a design of Mickey casting a magical spell that turns the markers from Arabic to Roman numerals.
  • Disney Mickey Mouse Fan Club Box Set: The iconic debut of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the ‘50s forever changed television for kids. The original show ran from 1954-1959 and since has become one of the most popular kids’ TV shows. This set includes a 42-millimeter stainless steel watch that features a vintage television with the show’s original logo and official Mickey Mouse ears above, a gray leather strap, a collectible pin, and an engraved Disney100 case back. The commemorative watch is also water resistant to 100 meters.
  • Disney Mickey Mouse Aviator Watch: Travel to the ’60s with this watch, which features a vintage Mickey with tons of classic details by designer Jeff Shelly.
  • Luke Skywalker Watch: Use the power of the Force and celebrate the dawn of Star Wars in the ‘70s! This watch commemorates the 1977 release of the first Star Wars movie with artwork inspired by its protagonist and tons of great details, including a 44-millimeter blue dial and bezel, a rugged brown leather strap, and a case back with the quote “The Force is strong with this one” etched on. The Luke Skywalker watch is water resistant up to 100 meters.
  • Darth Vader Watch: Star Wars continued to gain popularity in the ‘80s as new films in the series debuted. To celebrate one of film’s most iconic villains, Citizen will release this 44-millimeter watch in a black IP case with red markers, story-telling details, and dub dial art with the phrase “Come to the Dark Side” etched on.
  • Disney Mickey Mouse Astronaut Watch: To commemorate the height of the Space Age, Citizen will release a second watch for the ’80s. This 42-millimeter watch features a silver-tone stainless steel case and bracelet, black and red bezel, and glowy details.

  • The Ursula Watch and The Ariel Watch: In the ‘90s, Disney released its first animated feature film based on a classic fairytale in three decades: The Little Mermaid. Citizen is releasing both an Ariel and an Ursula watch, both as box sets with collectible pins to pay homage to the debut. The Ursula watch will include tear-shaped crystal settings and a back case featuring the phrase “You got it, sweetcakes. No more talking, singing, zip.” The Ariel watch will include tons of underwater-inspired details with the phrase “Making waves my way” on the back case.
  • Disney Mickey Mouse Classic Watch: Enter the turn of the century Disney-style with this ’00s-inspired 36-millimeter timepiece. It features gold-tone accents in a silver-white dial. The design of Mickey with a bouquet of vibrant flowers takes inspiration from the TV show Mickey Mouse Works from the early 2000s, which established the modern look of Mickey that we all know and love today.
  • The Spider-Man Watch: The Spider-Man watch features a stainless steel case and bracelet with a spider web printed under the 43-millimeter dial and a Spider-Man mask on the case back, commemorating the 2010s.
  • The Frozen Watch: The 2010s celebration continues with this Elsa-themed watch, which includes crystal details and a case back with “Queen of Snow” etched on.
  • Disney100 Mickey Mouse Fanfare Box Set: The final timepiece in the collection features tons of Hidden Mickeys, celebrating the Disney theme parks. The watch features hidden Mickeys along the outer border of the dial, a design of Mickey in a top hat, and a gold-tone stainless steel case with a brown leather strap. The set includes a collectible pin.
