You know that whooshing sound that kicks off every Netflix title and haunts all of your late-night binges? It has a name now, and it’s sharing that name with a massive fan event.
On Sept. 25, Netflix will be presenting a large virtual event called TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event. It will feature the biggest stars and creators from more than 70 Netflix series, films, and specials.
TUDUM will feature first looks, new trailers, and exclusive clips during a three-hour livestream — Basically, the content that the streaming service would traditionally share at in-person fan conventions. Interactive panels and conversations will feature updates from Netflix series and films, including Aggretsuko, Bridgerton, La Casa de Papel, the Umbrella Academy, the Witcher, and at least two dozen more. Today, Netflix released a teaser video for the event, featuring a host of Netflix stars hyping up (and trying to pronounce the name of) the event.
The virtual livestream will start at noon ET and will be broadcast across Netflix’s YouTube channels worldwide, as well as on Twitter and Twitch. Those who check in even earlier will be able to catch pre-shows that spotlight Korean and Indian series, as well as anime titles. That content will begin at 8 a.m. ET on specific channels.
Fans are invited to co-stream in order to react in real time on Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, or YouTube. Head to tudum.com for more info!
