Planning ahead is never a bad thing, so mark your calendars for a date with some zombies next October. The release date for Sony Pictures’ Zombieland 2 has been revealed, and it will be hitting theaters October 11, 2019.

Big names will be returning from the 2009 movie including Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin, along with director Ruben Fleischer. Deadpool and Deadpool 2 writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are also returning for the sequel.

The plot will hone in on the group as they travel from the White House to the heartland of America, fighting new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as human survivors who always seem to want to pick a fight. They will also face the growing pains of their makeshift motley crew of a family.

The original Zombieland grossed $75 million in the U.S. and $102.3 million globally with a budget of under $24 million.

Production for the sequel will begin in January.
