I ain’t afraid of no play sets.

The classic construction company Playmobil just launched a Ghostbusters line based on the original 1984 movie, and needless to say, I am obsessed! The standout is the Ghostbusters Firehouse, a tall replica of the original Ghostbusters HQ. I’m sure all fans of the franchise will appreciate the detail in this set.

Featuring high-quality pieces that are to be expected with every Playmobil toy, this ghoulish 228-piece set is jam-packed with accessories, figures, and moving parts to bring the spooky, quirky fun to the next level.

Putting the firehouse together is half the fun, and it surprisingly only took less than 10 minutes, thanks to detailed pictures on the instructions. Fans can customize the set by placing all of the different accessories in different rooms, or they can try to replicate the Firehouse shown on the packaging. The accessories are what makes this set stand out, including computers, lab equipment, and pizza boxes (the Ghostbusters can’t work on an empty stomach!). There are even bright green slime pieces to stick to the inside and outside walls.

And no Playmobil set would be complete without those iconic, round-headed figures–and this set comes with five. Fans will have Egon Spengler mixing up his latest ghost-busting mixtures in his lab using Louis Tully as a test rat, Ray Stantz can keep close watch on the Library Ghost, and—of course—Janine Melnitz will answer all those ghost-busting calls.

The best part about this set are the movable, interactive pieces, such as the sliding pole and working Ghost Containment Unit. These little details make all the difference, so fans will be able to recreate all types of scenes from the classic movie, like racing down the fire pole to the garage or locking up their ghosts.

This set is also packed with plenty of accessories for hunting down ghosts, including a detachable proton pack and proton laser, a ghost trap, a PKE meter for measuring psychokinetic energy, silicone slime splatters that stick to smooth surfaces, and more.

If you can’t get enough Playmobil Ghostbusters action, make sure to check out other sets in the line, including Ecto-1, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Slimer with Hot Dog Stand, and more! The infamous Ecto-1 car even fits right in the garage of the Firehouse, so fans can park it in their new firehouse for storage if they have both.

If something is strange is going on in your neighborhood, look no further than this Ghostbusters Firehouse. Who you gonna call? Playmobil!
