The Pop Insider is dedicated to keeping the licensing industry up to date on all the latest trends, deals, products, and properties. We will be shifting our editorial calendar due to the changes our industry is facing related to COVID-19.
The Pop Insider will delay its spring issue to coincide with the new dates for the Licensing Expo on August 11-13.
The Licensing Expo issue of the Pop Insider will feature two Expo showcases: The coolest new brands, collectibles, merch, and games targeted toward adults, geeks, and collectors; and the best collectible and entertainment brands for kids featured in our Pop Junior section.
This issue of the Pop Insider will be distributed at Licensing Expo 2020, mailed to our subscribers, and will be available online. If you have products that fit these categories, we want to feature them in our magazine!
PLEASE NOTE: If you have already submitted your information and images for editorial coverage but need to make updates, please contact us with those changes by May 29.
SUBMIT YOUR INFO BY MAY 29!
Please submit using the following guidelines:
- Please send an overview/description of properties you will be showcasing at Licensing Expo in a Word document attachment. Click here to see last year’s coverage!
- Share info on the latest brands and entertainment properties, new licensees you’ve signed, what categories they’ve signed on for, and highlight any specific new for 2020 products, if applicable. List suggested age, MSRP, and availability (e.g. Spring 2020, Fall 2020) whenever possible for any product mentioned.
- Prioritize your submissions, listing your most important items at the top. Our editorial space is limited, but we will try to cover as many of your products as possible. (Absolute maximum word count is 400 words—we will edit all submissions.)
- Please include high-resolution (300 dpi) screenshots or logos for any brands you’re showcasing, or any high-resolution (300 dpi) product images with transparent/no background as email attachments. We don’t need an image for every item, but please send as many as you can. Please name your images so that it is clear which item it is.
- Please do not send PDFs or PowerPoint presentations, and do not embed images within documents. See guidelines 1-4 above.
- Send your submission to: marissa@popinsider.com. The deadline for the Licensing Expo issue is MAY 29. If you need an extension, please let me know before MAY 22.

EMBARGOES
Be assured that ALL EMBARGOED SUBMISSIONS for Licensing Expo coverage will remain confidential and will not be printed until the Expo issue, which will debut at Licensing Expo on May 19. The Licensing Expo issue will not be available prior to the show.
