The 2019 Pokémon World Championships kicks off today with live streams from Washington, D.C., broadcasting the intense matchups and expert commentary from the Pokémon Company International on Twitch.
The most elite Pokémon video game and Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players will come together to compete in this international event, with players from more than of Pokémon World Champion, with the opportunity to win more than $500,000 in scholarships and prizes across all three days of the event.
A main stage stream will broadcast the opening ceremony and the first Pokémon GO Invitational starting this morning, followed by rotating video game and TCG matchups throughout the weekend, and the final matches and closing ceremony on Sunday.
The weekend’s four streams are:
