The ultimate film about time travel and accidentally making your mom fall in love with you turns 35 this year and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is celebrating by bringing it to this century.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean hoverboards (well, it kinda does) or self-lacing shoes but it does mean a collection of the films in 4K Ultra HD. Also in the new Back to the Future collection, fans can find a bonus disc with more than an hour of brand-new content. Through their audition tapes, you can imagine an alternative present where Ben Stiller, Kyra Sedgwick, Jon Cryer, Billy Zane, Peter DeLuise, or C. Thomas Howell took on the famous characters.
The collection also includes a tour of the film’s props and memorabilia hosted by co-writer/producer Bob Gale, the first look at a new musical show, and an episode of the YouTube series Could You Survive The Movies?.

The space-time continuum will alter forever on Oct. 20 when the collection is released in stores. For extra-heavy exclusives, fans can find the trilogy in 4K UHD along with a levitating Hoverboard replica only on Amazon, the Blu-ray version with the Hoverboard only at Target, and the 4K UHD version with newly-designed Steel Books only at Best Buy.
