Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opened this weekend at Walt Disney World, full of exciting rides, snacks, and merch straight out of Batuu. If this theme park is the place for you with its blue milk and churro lightsabers, then get ready for a full, live-in, immersive Star Wars experience.
Last week, the Orlando, Florida, park announced a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, where fans can sleep aboard the “Halcyon” ship. The two-night experience includes a Launch Pod atrium, a ship bridge, a Silver C Lounge bar, and plenty of themed activities for fans to keep busy — plus easy access to the park, bonus! The hotel, chock full of Star Wars-themed design elements, makes guests feel like they’re stepping onto an intergalactic vessel entry thanks to the Launch Pod atrium throughout the entire property, including the guest rooms, which overlook a cosmic view as you’re really in space.
While the immersive hotel doesn’t have an official opening date yet, Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed some illustrations of the galactic hotel. Check out these detailed concept renderings below.
