McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. McFarlane Toys covers the DC superheroes, supervillains, and everything in between with the new DC Multiverse 7-Inch Collector Figures. The variety of figures is impressive, showcasing alternate versions of characters from DC comics, animated series, and live-action TV shows. The styles and designs differ to reflect the medium that each character came from, whether it’s TV or comic books.

Green Arrow Figure

The cartoonish Green Lantern: Justice League figure — based on the animated Justice League series that aired on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s — features exaggerated, broad shoulders and comically stick-thin legs, just like in the show. The Superman: Action Comics No. 1000 and the Batman: Detective Comics No. 1000 (pictured in the top-most image, right) figures are more detailed, featuring veins and muscles rippling through their costumes because that’s how they appear in those specific comics. The dramatic Batman Who Laughs figure (pictured in the top-most image, middle) does an excellent job of portraying the creepy Batman-Joker-hybrid from the Dark Multiverse with his broken yellow teeth and clown paint running down his chin. The realistic Green Arrow figure (above) is modeled after actor Stephen Amell from the CW’s Arrow, featuring green, squinty eyes and stubble on his chin.

Harley Quinn: Classic Figure

Other figures in the line include Batman: Batman the Animated Series (pictured in the top-most image, left), Superman: Superman the Animated Series, Harley Quinn: Classic, Superman: Unchained Armor, Batman: Hellbat Suit, Batgirl: Art of the Crime, and Nightwing: Better Than Batman. Each figure features 22 points of articulation, making it easy to pose them on your desk or out in the real world for toy photography. Each package also includes character-specific accessories, a display base, and a collectible card with character art and a biography.

Batgirl: Art of the Crime Figure

The Batgirl, Nightwing, and The Batman Who Laughs figures are part of a three-figure collector set, although the figures are sold separately. Each package includes one-third of a buildable Batmobile that collectors can snap together to build the Batmobile seen in the DC Rebirth comic books. The Batmobile is scaled way smaller than the figures though. However, if you want something to-scale, the DC Multiverse line also includes a Bat-Raptor vehicle designed to hold any of the 7-inch figures.

These figures extend the DC Multiverse into the real world, making the perfect addition to any growing DC collection.
