Daniel Radcliffe reading the first chapter of Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone sounds like something out of your binge-watching induced dreams but I’m here to tell you it’s real — and it’s spectacular.
As part of the Harry Potter at Home initiative through Wizarding World, we can expect a number of celebrities to read us the chapters of the novel that introduced us to The Boy Who Lived. The list includes Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim, Noma Dumezweni, Eddie Redmayne, and more to be announced later. There’s a total of 17 chapters which leaves the door open for plenty of magical surprises.
Videos will become available at HarryPotterAtHome.com (watch Radcliffe here) and an audio-only version will also be on Spotify. Fans with an artistic side can be featured in the videos by submitting your artwork based on iconic scenes. Check out the rules for submitting here.
The at-home experience offers even more Harry Potter-themed fun to be had: Fans can dive into quizzes, puzzles, and everything else you may need to keep you entertained — even if you live in a cupboard under the stairs.
