Steve Aoki is a DJ, a music producer, and a designer — but he’s also a major anime fan.
Aoki’s fashion and record label, Dim Mak, is about to release a new apparel collection in partnership with Toei Animation, inspired by Dragon Ball Z. He designed this new drop as a nostalgic nod to his youth, channeling both the battles and the camaraderie found within the original anime.
The apparel collection will feature 19 styles of T-shirts and hoodies that incorporate fan-favorite characters, including Goku, Trunks, Vegeta, Frieza, Shenron, and Buu. There is also a letterman-style jacket to round out the Dragon Ball offerings.
The limited-edition Dim Mak x Dragon Ball Z collection will drop tomorrow, Dec. 10, at dimmakcollection.com and in limited quantities on the NTWRK app. Prices for the items will range from $38-85.
This collaboration is the latest in a series of pop-culture-inspired drops from Dim Mak. Fans can currently find apparel for DC Comics, Venom Vs. Carnage, Nightmare On Elm Street, Attack on Titan, PowerPuff Girls, and more on the Dim Mak website.
