Yesterday, April 6, Hasbro Pulse hosted a Star Wars Fan First Wednesday livestream event, where the team unveiled a range of exciting new Star Wars products. The reveals featured a bounty of new items, including new additions to both The Black Series and The Vintage Collection.
To start, there are six new figures entering the ranks of Hasbro’s Black Series, all of which include at least one accessory. Among these 6-inch-scale figures is Sergeant Kreel as he appears in Star Wars comic books, an athletic Princess Leia sporting a white jumper and gold vest, Darth Vader clad in an all-white Jedi uniform, a Delta Squad member, and Saw Gerrera. The line is also introducing a roleplay item modeled after Trapper Wolf’s helmet seen throughout the series.
In total, there are seven new products entering the 3.75-inch-scale Vintage Collection, including Figrin D’an as he appears in Star Wars: A New Hope, two Mandalorian figures inspired by the Clone Wars, Shae Vizla avenging in her classic pantsuit, Lando Calrissian as his Star Wars video game character, and Arc Trooper Jesse. Hasbro also announced the launch of vintage Imperial Death Stormtroopers, available in packs of four that are complete with one captain and six accessories.
As if these launches weren’t already out of this world, Hasbro mastered the force with one last surprise— a retro Chewbacca figure! This 3.75-inch figure is a “prototype edition,” which adds an element of funk to this legendary Wookie with rainbow coloring and pop-art packaging!
All of these products become available to pre-order today, April 7, at 1 p.m. ET on hasbropulse.com or at major retailers, including Entertainment Earth (which is currently offering free shipping for orders of $39 or more). The collectibles’ release dates are scheduled periodically throughout the year. With prices ranging from $14.99-131.99, there’s plenty for fans to chews from!
