Our favorite indoor and outdoor activities are joining forces for an epic collaboration! Crayola and the basketball brand Spalding are teaming up to make colorful basketballs and other outdoor accessories that will bring you back to kindergarten art class.
Spalding will officially launch the partnership with Crayola with “Doodles to Dribbles,” a design-your-own-basketball activation. The campaign will run from Nov. 15-Dec. 15. If you win, you could get a one-of-a-kind sample of your own ball!
“Crayola celebrates creativity because we believe it is fundamental to developing skills like adaptability, problem-solving, and self-confidence, on and off the court,” says April Heeren, Crayola General Manager for Domestic Outbound Licensing, explaining why the brands are a good fit.
The collection launches on Nov. 15 with a Colors of Kindness basketball and a green Crayola crayon-inspired pump that will be available exclusively at spalding.com.
The rest of the collection will be available on spalding.com and select retailers starting in March, with prices ranging from $24.99-199.99. The additional items will include a multi-colored Crayola basketball, a white basketball with colorful splotches, and an all-black basketball accented by a full-color Crayola logo.
