McFarlane Toys and AMC teamed up to bring back The Walking Dead collectibles, and we’ve never been so happy to see something rise from the dead.
“The Walking Dead has captivated audiences on a global scale with its compelling storytelling and unforgettable characters. We are thrilled to rekindle our collaboration with the AMC team on this iconic franchise, to bring fans an extraordinary collection of high-quality collectibles,” says Cristy Collins, Vice President of Licensing at McFarlane Toys.
The announcement comes as the new series The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which follows fan-favorite characters Rick and Michonne, airs on Sundays on AMC and AMC+. The two brands first teamed up for The Walking Dead collectibles 10 years ago, four years into the show’s run.
“As The Walking Dead Universe enters its epic second chapter, the timing couldn’t be better to expand our partnership with McFarlane Toys,” says Clayton Neuman, Head of Games and Franchise for AMC. “Our fans are always hungry for more, and McFarlane’s unique, detailed figures inspired by our exciting new series will be a welcome addition to any collector’s shelf.”
Both physical and digital collectibles and action figures will be included in the collection, with details including which characters are to be included and release dates to come.
