Got a bad case of NYCC FOMO? Walmart’s Collector Con has you covered! Between now and October 18, Collector Con will launch hundreds of new collectibles, special giveaways, and live-stream events that will have you saying OMG, ASAP.
Collector Con only occurs twice a year: once during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and again for New York Comic Con (NYCC). During these two days of mayhem, Walmart launches exclusive and sought-after collector items. This year’s epic lineup features merch from many popular brands, including Star Wars, Pokémon, WWE, Marvel, NECA, McFarlane, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and many more. Exclusively for the con, Walmart is selling autographed NECA and McFarlane items, along with exclusive Unknown Comics comic books. Whether it’s a new Batman action figure or the pack of Dungeons & Dragons miniatures you’ve been eyeing, this is the perfect time to stock up on all things geek.

This year, Walmart invites resellers to participate in the Collector Con action. Over the summer, the company launched a new digital storefront called Resold by Walmart. This digital marketplace is the first pre-owned selling platform run by performance-managed independent sellers. With more than 1,700 sellers and 5 million different products, the site is a popular place for fans to buy and sell pre-owned collectibles. In honor of Collector Con, Walmart is including preorders and drops for Resold collectibles in their Collector Shop lineup. Additionally, eligible sellers can take advantage of a 0% commission fee for collectibles and more through the end of the month. This way, fans can buy sustainably while engaging with their favorite brands and franchises during Collector Con.
Live from New York, it’s Collector Con! Many of the exclusive Walmart items from their event can be found across NYCC booths. Atlas Comics is teaming up with Walmart to relaunch classic merchandise featuring its iconic comic book characters. Fans can get a first look at the collectibles, reprinted comic issues, limited-edition clothing, and even participate in exclusive giveaways at their NYCC booth.
For the fans at home who wish they were at NYCC, Walmart will be live-streaming straight from the show floor! Fans can tune in for talks with popular collectible brands like NECA, Unknown Comics, Hallmark, and more will stream exclusively on the Walmart website.
