Imagine a world where Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake exist in the same universe: It’s insanely charming, everyone is happy and helpful, the snow is made of sugar, and it all smells good enough to eat. Great news: It’s real!

Following the news of the upcoming crossover animated special, The Care Berry Switch (working title), two of the most wholesome and cheery ‘80s brands, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears, will appear side by side on multiple exclusive capsule collections.

Details on the drops are still limited, but so far we know the first one is coming later this fall and will include fashion labels Samii Ryan and Sweet Peas Co., as well as sticker brand Blank Tag Co.

The rest will drop throughout the holiday season and into next year. The drops will include apparel, sleepwear, beauty, and collectibles from brands including Dolls Kill, PSD, Cakeworthy, Isaac Morris Ltd., Centric, MJC, Silver Buffalo, Concept 1, High Intencity, Culture Fly, and FYE.

Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake are known for their fun product collaborations, like the Bears’ Goose Creek candles last spring and Strawberry Shortcake’s putty earlier this fall, both of which we still aren’t over. This is not the first time we have seen Care Bears collaborate with another dear character — earlier this year, we got a Hello Kitty Care Bear, and we did not think it could get any better than that, but dare we say, this collab with Ms. Shortcake competes.

Do we think Strawberry Shortcake is likelier to befriend Funshine Bear or Wish Bear? Or maybe Cheer Bear could match her pink vibe; she is a girl who loves a consistent aesthetic. Either way, stay tuned for these product launches with these two brands.
