Hasbro‘s making sure the force is with everyone this May the 4th!
In anticipation of Star Wars Day today, Hasbro Pulse had a fanstream yesterday that was full of new figure reveals. With favorite characters getting detailed action figures, any fans of the franchise will be eager to get their hands on these collectibles. The stream was hosted by a variety of Hasbro designers as well as a marketing representative, all there to talk in detail about the new figures and other releases.
The TLDR? Hasbro is dropping a ton of collectibles to celebrate May the 4th! With additions to The Vintage Collection as well as The Black Series, lovers of the franchise will be able to grab their favorites for preorder today. All the new releases become available for preorder at 1 p.m. ET.
From adorable crossovers to nostalgic new figures, The Vintage Collection is getting some exciting additions. The menacing Grand Inquisitor figure is based on the character’s appearance in the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series. For those who remember the classic animated series Star Wars: Ewoks, Wicket and Kneesaa are back to their shenanigans with figures that mix their cartoon appearance with a more realistic Ewok look. And if you were as excited as us to see Luke and Grogu together, there’s a new figure for you!
The Magnaguard is also back in the Black Series with a fully articulated figure based on the droid guard’s look in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. A fan-favorite villain is also making a figure appearance in The Black Series, with a General Grievous figure based on the Star Wars: Battlefront II video game. Finally, for even more Sith content, the Dark Malgus figure will have fans of Star Wars: The Old Republic trying a Jedi mind trick to get their preorder sooner!
Chewbacca, of course, couldn’t be left out of the action. With his bowcaster at the ready, he’s prepared for any battles within your collection. Wicket gets a second figure in The Black Series as well, this one based on the character’s appearance in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. If you can’t wait for the new Ahsoka show this August, you can at least tide yourself over with a preorder of the Padawan Ahsoka Tano figure.
Fans of the Mandalorian haven’t been left out either, with a figure based on the character’s appearance after leaving Grogu with Luke. And no Star Wars release is complete without a Clone Trooper — the Phase II Clone Trooper figure features the Troopers’ improved armor and is based on the animated Clone Wars series. Finally, the Axe Woves Premium Electronic Helmet is inspired by The Mandalorian and has an LED-illuminated heads-up display, realistic detailing, and a drop-down rangefinder.
This new series of Star Wars releases is enough to get any fan heading to preorder pages! The Hasbro Pulse Star Wars figures and helmet will be available for preorder today, May 4, at 1 p.m. ET. In the meantime, you can check out the full fan livestream in the video below.
