Robosen Robotics is teaming up with Hasbro again to bring even more Transformers to its robot offerings. The company previously developed a fully functional Optimus Prime and is now tackling Bumblebee, the first in a new Performance Series line of robots.
The Bumblebee G1 Performance is designed to emulate the character himself, both in function and aesthetics. The sleek, yellow Bumblebee has an improved walking algorithm, two adjustable walking speeds, voice activation, and a full collection of poses.
The design of the bot is based on the first generation of Transformers, sure to provide nostalgia for any fans of the original toy line. Bumblebee has 20 pre-installed voice commands as well as 69 original sounds, all voiced by Dan Gilvezan.
For those who already own the Flagship Optimus Prime or Elite Optimus Prime robots from Robosen, there’s even more fun to be had. The new Bumblebee can interact with either of the Optimus bots with the Mini Theater experience, letting fans use their voice to program a whole variety of sequences between the two bots.
