The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place last night, but it’s HBO’s commericial that aired during the show that left viewers in a frenzy.
The ad, which teased the network’s 2019 show lineup, was nothing short of amazing. It included sneak peeks at series including Watchmen, Big Little Lies, and of course, Game of Thrones.
The Watchmen footage featured multiple characters in masks and gave fans their first look at Jeremy Irons in the series, while Big Little Lies showcased powerhouse stars Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Reese Witherspoon.

Then, there was the four-second sequence from Game of Thrones’ final season, which showed Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) arriving at Winterfell for the very first time.
“Winterfell is yours, your grace,” Sansa tells Daenerys. Goosebumps.
The GoT moment is brief, but it raises a lot of questions, including whether or not fans will get the long-awaiting reunion between Jon Snow and Arya Stark.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO in April.
