Epic Games, the developer behind the sensational game Fortnite, received an “F” rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Try flossing to that.
Through an official press release and blog post, the BBB is warning consumers about the developer, in response to 279 complaints over the last three years. Complaints include “false accusations” of cheating, “unjustified platform bans,” and a refusal to refund unauthorized charges through Fortnite. Many of the complaints have to do with the games’ premium in-game currency, V-Bucks.
Of the 279 complains, a whopping 247 have gone unanswered by Epic Games. In response, a spokesperson with the company stated: “Epic Games is not affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and has redirected all player submitted complaints from the BBB to our Player Support staff.”
The same spokesperson also urged players to share their complaints through the customer service section of their website.
