Any movie lovers who frequented Alamo Drafthouse before the COVID-19 pandemic will remember the theater chain’s limited-edition, collectible drinking glasses.
The 16-ounce cups were made of glass and featured custom artwork that celebrated some of the biggest blockbusters, including many Star Wars and Marvel movies. After a multi-year hiatus, Alamo has revealed that the glasses are coming back due to popular demand, specifically for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
The new GotG glass is decorated with a design by Alamo’s Chris Bilheimer. It features the movie logo alongside an image of the whole intergalactic crew in a purple, orange, and yellow color scheme.
To get one of these exclusive glasses, moviegoers must get their ticket to the movie online by 11:59 p.m. CT on April 7, selecting the collector’s glass add-on. To redeem the glass, moviegoers simply stop by the box office at their Alamo Drafthouse location before their showtime. The staff will print a voucher for the glass, which you can exchange with the concierge for the product.
Glasses are limited to one per ticket and the glass purchase is voided if the ticket is refunded. The movie tickets (and glasses!) are available to purchase now at drafthouse.com.
