At this year’s E3 expo, Arcade1Up made major waves by unveiling a gaming cabinet for fans of a galaxy far, far away: the Atari Star Wars cabinet. Now, those fans can be one step closer to bringing the cabinet home, as preorders for the game officially opened today on gamestop.com.
The cabinet — which stands roughly 5 feet tall with the included riser — features artwork from the original games; a light-up marquee; a full-color, 17-inch display; and duel speakers. But perhaps the most exciting feature is the real-feel flight yoke controller, a first for Arcade1Up. The cabinet includes the classic games based on Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
The cabinet preorder is live here for $499.99. It is expected to ship in mid-October.
