This world is cruel, and it’s also very beautiful because ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical is coming to North American audiences this fall! The stage show premiered in Japan last year, and now fans in New York can watch their favorite manga characters interact onstage.
ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical, based on the manga of the same name, uses a cast of 35 actors and innovative technology to tell Eren Yeager’s story. Audience members will watch as the character faces the return of Titans and everything that comes with it.
It’s considered a 2.5D musical: the manga and animation are in 2D, and the live theater is in 3D. It’s important to note that the show will be performed in Japanese, but there will be English supertitles. And, the manga’s original author Hajime Isayama mentioned that the musical was a great way to express the story, so don’t worry, it has the creator’s stamp of approval.

The show will be at the New York City Center in New York from Oct. 11-13; Friday’s show is at 7:30 p.m., Saturday’s shows are at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday’s show is at 2 p.m. The show is approximately one hour and 50 minutes, and merchandise will be available at the theater!
The general public sale is on June 3 at 12 p.m. EST at nycitycenter.org, but the Crunchyroll, Kodansha, and Kinokuniya fan presale is currently open until June 3 at 9 a.m. Tickets start at $55 but can vary depending on the date and seat selection.
