Music can truly make a moment, and you can watch your favorite Avatar: The Last Airbender (Avatar) moments with music from a live orchestra!

Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert is coming to the U.S. this fall. During the show, a live orchestra will play music from the original cartoon series while compilations of scenes from each season play on a full-size cinema screen behind the musicians. Avatar-lovers can watch the characters they love — and the characters they love to hate — in their favorite scenes while listening to the score live. The U.S. leg of the tour is from Sept. 7 to Nov. 24, 2024.

This concert is based entirely on the 2005 animated series. Expect recognizable tunes like “Secret Tunnel” and “Leaves from the Vine,” as well as instrumental pieces that you might not know by name, but will remember as soon as you hear it. Of course, the series’ intro theme song will also fill the venue.

The performance is roughly 2 hours and 30 minutes long with a 20-minute intermission, so you have time to get a good cry, laugh, or bending training session in if needed. There’s also merchandise available to purchase at the show.

There are several tour dates throughout the U.S., so you’ll likely have a show nearby. Avatar fans in Florida, Louisiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, Utah, California, Arizona, and other states can experience the live event.

The music, composed and arranged by Jeremy Zuckerman, comes directly from the show. Zuckerman, who created the series’ original music, has expanded some compositions for the concert and worked with Jeff Adams (Avatar’s original editor) to create an experience that is true to the series.

Firebenders, Earthbenders, Airbenders, Waterbenders, and those who have more prominent boomerang skills can also experience the tour with the Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert World Tour VIP Package. This includes early access to the venue, a commemorative VIP laminate and matching lanyard, VIP priority line access to the merchandise stands, and an exclusive VIP merchandise bundle designed and created for you, the VIP, that is not available elsewhere. Fans must purchase the VIP package in addition to a regular ticket.

Like any live concert, tickets vary depending on the tour date and your location in the venue. Prices can range from $25-274. Tickets will go on sale on April 20, but fans can use the presale code AVATAR24 for certain dates now.
