While all of the Avengers made major sacrifices to protect Earth and rewind the devastation Thanos created during the Infinity War in Avengers: Endgame, fans know Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) made the ultimate sacrifice. However, the characters made it seem like her sacrifice went unnoticed at the end of the movie.
Fans would like to know where Natasha Romanova’s funeral with all the Marvel factions was. She jumped to her death — like a badass, no less — so that her bestie, Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), could live and secure the soul stone before Thanos got to it. She deserved a whole parade — maybe even several days of mourning! But because Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) blew up the villain before he could decimate the earth, he gets the whole ceremony.
Black Widow will finally get the tribute she deserves, along with Iron Man and the resurrected heroes, in Best Buy’s exclusive Avengers: Endgame steelbook. The inside of the book includes two portraits of Black Widow and Iron Man, signed by Johansson and Downey Jr. Shots of the characters from pivotal scenes in the Endgame will also be printed on two of the Blu-ray discs. Meanwhile, the outside back cover features the Avengers who died in Infinity War but came back to life in the final movie of the saga.
The epic steelbook — which seems a little too late with this tribute, if you ask me — is available for preorder now at Best Buy.
