Anime fans rejoice! Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles is ready to wow attendees at this year’s Anime Expo, which takes place July 4-7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Attendees can expect to find plenty of cool photo ops, statues, dioramas, and loads of free swag.
And that’s only scratching the surface of what’s to come. For building toy enthusiasts, there will be a special Gundam Builders Workshop (where you get to build a free RX-78-2 Gundam model kit), a Nanoblock building competition, and a booth for Bandai Hobby that has kits of all kinds, including the 30 Minutes label customizable series. For Ghibli fans, there will be an entire shopping experience based on the world of Studio Ghibli, featuring officially licensed plush, figures, and brand new merch for the 2024 Academy Award Winner for Best Animated Feature The Boy and the Heron.Â
And if at this point you somehow still believed your wallets were safe, there will also be more than 200 Gashapon machines featuring merch from all your favorite shows and games! Plus, you can commemorate your inevitable Gashapon victory in the giant Gashapon Capsule photo-op (and post on Instagram to make everyone you know jealous). Celebrate your love for Digimon, Naruto, Pokémon, ONE PIECE, and more at Bandai’s epic Anime Expo booths. Look for booths 2106, 2214, 2406, and 3106 in the Exhibit Hall and booths E10 and E50 in the Entertainment Hall— and don’t forget to register your badge.
