May the 4th might be well beyond us, but that doesn’t mean the Star Wars celebrations have to stop! In fact, the biggest force-filled event is taking place this weekend, May 26-29, in Anaheim, California, at Star Wars Celebration 2022!
Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America (BNTCA) is among many exhibitors set to attend the event this year. With a range of licensed Star Wars toys, collectibles, and interactive elements —including Tamagotchis — BNTCA has a bounty of things to get excited about.
BNTCA will be offering a celebration-exclusive, platinum version of the R2-D2 Tamagotchi. In traditional Tamagotchi gameplay, players will be responsible for feeding, cleaning, and charging R2-D2. The toy includes two minigames and 19 skills for R2-D2 to master.
Fans at the event can prepare for various interactive activities to enjoy, as well. Pose for a selfie with a life-size Darth Vader at the Star Wars Meisho Movie Realization Display or build your own Razor Crest at the Razor Crest Model Kit Workshop. BNTCA even has over a dozen Star Wars model kits up for grabs at the Model Kit Showcase!
Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America will be located at Booth No. 1905 for all three days of the event. Registration for the event is still open at starwarscelebration.com.
