There are no delusions of grandeur here — a new Wicked-themed Care Bears collection is almost here!
This August, Basic Fun! and Universal Products & Experiences will release a collection of Galinda-fied Care Bears, where each plush friend resembles a Wicked: For Good character. There are five different plush collectibles inspired by the mystifying movie.
The Care Bears x Wicked 2-Pack ($29.99) features a 14-inch Love-A-Lot Bear as Glinda with a sparkly pink nose, ears, and tummy, a pink skirt, Glinda’s bubble crown, and two pink heart belly badges. It also includes a black hat and cape-clad Good Luck Bear as Elphaba, whose four-leaf clover belly badge also dons the iconic black hat. Both bears have the Wicked symbol and a heart patch on their feet.
The collection also includes a 12-inch Funshine Bear as the Scarecrow, Tenderheart Bear as the Lion, which showcases recognizable whiskers, and Grumpy Bear as the Tin Man, which features silver armor.
Each character is also available as a 9-inch plush toy ($12.99 each), perfect for traveling down the yellow brick road (or to your next con).
The Care Bears x Wicked line will be available in August on Amazon and at additional retailers. Wicked: For Good will debut in theaters Nov. 21, just in time for you to perform the entire musical at home during Thanksgiving break.
