Ever since Rocksteady Studios first launched Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009, Batman fans have been eager for more video game adventures where the caped crusader faced off against his most iconic villains. Now, Batman: Arkham Asylum and its two sequels, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight are being developed for Nintendo Switch.
Throughout the trilogy, players face off against Batman’s most iconic villains, including The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, The Riddler, Two-Face, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and more. The third installment of the trilogy also introduces the Arkham Knight in his first entrance to the Batman universe.
Even though the villains are usually the best part of a Batman game, players must also work with Batman’s allies: Commissioner Gordon, Oracle, Alfred, Lucius Fox, Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman.
All three games will come in one package, along with all of the old DLCs for each game. The set is expected to hit shelves this fall, which is the perfect time to embrace the dark, gritty vibes of Gotham City!
Whether you’ve never played the Arkham trilogy before or have loved them for years, the games’ move to Switch is a great opportunity to fall in love with Gotham all over again.
