Look into the sky on the evening of Sept. 21, and you just may glimpse the iconic Bat-Signal shining above the city.
For this year’s Batman Day, DC and Warner Bros. have a lineup of special events and experiences set to celebrate the caped crusader’s 80th anniversary.
The bat silhouette will shine at 8 p.m. local time in 11 cities around the world. The U.S. cities participating are New York City and Los Angeles. If you aren’t able to see the signals in person, you can follow along on the new Batman Bat-Tracker app, which will show the projections in real time.
In addition to these Bat-Signals, there are plenty of other ways to celebrate. The Union Square Barnes & Noble in New York City will host a talent signing and panel discussion moderated by DC Publisher Dan DiDio on Sept. 21, and there will be a Batman 5K night run and fan celebration in Los Angeles.
Fans can also celebrate Batman Day with tons of exclusive merch and in-store retail experiences. Participating U.S. comic shops and bookstores will offer free, Batman Day editions of The Batman Who Laughs and Batman: Nightwalker.Â
There will also be Batman activations at the Presented by Amazon Batman shops, FAO Schwarz, and LEGO stores.
