Sonic the Hedgehog has found his voice! The electric blue bundle of spikes is headed to the silver screen in the upcoming live-action and CG Sonic the Hedgehog movie and he will be voiced by actor Ben Schwartz.
Schwartz is best known for playing Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation and is no stranger to voicing animated characters—he also played Rutabaga Rabitowitz in BoJack Horseman, Leo in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and is currently voicing Dewey Duck in DuckTales.
The actor expressed his excitement on Twitter.
I. LOVE. 90S. BLUE. ICONIC. CHARACTERS. I am beyond excited about this movie. It’s gonna be amazing. I have been training by running, wagging my finger and impatiently tapping my foot. GOTTA GO FAST! https://t.co/SOYqgnf3ym
