Benedict Cumberbatch was just announced as the final member of the Good Omens cast. The new Amazon Prime Video series is based on the classic fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The limited six-episode series follows Aziraphale, an angel played by Michael Sheen, and Crowley, a demon played by David Tennant, as they develop an unlikely friendship as the Apocalypse draws near.

Cumberbatch will play a giant animated Satan alongside Frances McDormand, who plays the voice of God. The show also stars Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Anna Maxwell Martin, and Mireille Enos.

The show is produced by BBC Studios, Amazon Studios, Blank Corporation, and Narrativia, and will launch on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories on May 31. It will also air later this year on BBC Two in the UK.
