Bleacher Creatures x WNBA Collab Is Nothing but Net

Get ready to cheer on your favorite Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team with your favorite player by your side — in plush form, of course. 

Bleacher Creatures, a brand that creates plush figures of popular athletes and pop culture characters, is adding to its line of 8-inch Kuricha plush inspired by Japanese Chibi artwork. The newest collectible plush are made to resemble powerful athletes from various WNBA teams. Each officially licensed plush has a bean bag bottom, so they can sit upright on your couch or in your collectibles display case. 

The collection includes four athletes from popular WNBA teams. The Las Vegas Aces A’ja Wilson plush wears the same black-and-gold uniform seen on the court, as well as sporting Wilson’s iconic black headband and ponytail combo. 

One City. One Dream. One Rhyne Howard. The Atlanta Dream Rhyne Howard plush closely resembles the player, right down to her red uniform and gameday hairstyle. 

The New York Liberty Breanna Stewart plush dons Stewart’s official jersey and shorts, including her recognizable number 30, and a high ponytail with a rubber band in the team’s official color.  

Finally, Phoenix Mercury fans can welcome Diana Taurasi to their home court. The plush dedicated to the guard features her slicked-back bun and the team’s vibrant, orange-and-purple uniform. 

These soft, hand-sewn plush join an existing lineup of Kuricha plush that depict female athletes. Previously, Bleacher Creatures has released plush collectibles of U.S. Women’s Soccer athletes Megan Rapione, Alex Morgan, and Sophia Smith.
