Attending a New York City Comic Con (NYCC) event usually requires your presence in the city that never sleeps, but ReedPop is set to host a virtual comic con event this weekend that ’90s kids across the country will definitely be watching.
Six of the Boy Meets World cast members — Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), Trina McGee (Angela Moore), Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter), and William Daniels (Mr. Feeny) — will reunite this Saturday, May 23, for a two-part online event. (OK, Ben Savage, what calendar conflict could you possibly have?)
The first part of the day kicks off at 2 p.m. ET, when the six actors will have a watch party for the season five episode “And Then There Was Shawn.” The cast will chat through the episode, livestreaming on the New York Comic Con Facebook page — and it’s free to watch! For those who want to watch the show along with the cast, the episode is available to stream on Disney+ and available for purchase via iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Prime.
Then, the cast will participate in a 45-minute Q&A, moderated by Clare Kramer. This portion of the event is ticketed — Fans can buy tickets here for $7.98 (including service charge), and $5.99 from each ticket sale will benefit the charity DonorsChoose. During the Q&A session, fans can tweet their question to any ReedPop convention account.
