On International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, Marvel Studios ushers in a new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with Captain Marvel. Fans of all ages—along with guests of Disney Parks and Resorts—are invited to go “Higher, Further, Faster” in celebration of “Earth’s Mightiest Hero.” A robust array of Captain Marvel products are now available at retail with more arriving in the months ahead. And, beginning this month, visitors to Disney Parks locations will be able to encounter Captain Marvel herself!
Starting next week, Captain Marvel arrives on the Disney Cruise Line during Marvel Day at Sea sailings, after which she will appear at Disney California Adventure park, Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disney Resort. Additionally, guests are encouraged to snag Instagram-worthy photo-ops at select locations using the hashtag: #HigherFurtherFaster.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel sees a galactic war between two alien races reach Earth, as Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
