Casio’s latest watch is taking fans straight back to 1985 — no flux capacitor required. In honor of Back to the Future’s 40th anniversary, Casio is recreating Marty McFly’s iconic CA-53 calculator watch with a trendy, time-traveling twist.
Arriving just in time for Back to the Future Day (Oct. 21), the limited-edition CA-500 transforms the iconic DeLorean time machine into a far-out timepiece. With sleek chrome casing and engraved details, this collectible is as outatime as the original films.
In addition to hours and minutes, fans can set time circuit coordinates on the DeLorean’s digital dashboard, complete with retro push-button controls. The back of the case features engraved artwork of the flux capacitor, while the metal band bears the film’s classic logo. From the ‘50s to the 2020s, this stylish sci-fi accessory will dazzle in any decade.
And that’s not all! The watch also comes in vintage VHS-style packaging, so you can rewind without hitting 88 miles per hour.
If you don’t have a flux capacitor stashed in your garage, you’ll have to wait until Oct. 21 to grab this timepiece. However, fans can sign up for notifications now on Casio’s website to be among the first to snag it.
