Oh…my…God! Friends fans and coffee lovers everywhere will be delighted to hear that Central Perk Coffee Co. will soon be opening its first location later this year. However, it will be in Boston, not the Big Apple.
We all know that Central Perk was the place where the Friends gang and neighborhood locals would gather to enjoy a cup of coffee in the iconic ’90s sitcom. Now, almost 29 years later, a modern-day version of the Central Perk Coffeehouse is officially opening its premiere location. Launched with the help of Top Chef and James Beard Award Winner Tom Colicchio, the coffeehouse will be located at 205 Newbury St. in Boston.
The coffeehouse, created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and CenPer Holdings, will feature a remarkable menu to complement Central Perk Coffee, a line of artisanal quality coffees made with Arabica beans. These blends include “How You Doin’?” (medium roast), “Pivot Blend” (medium/dark roast), “We Were on a Coffee Break” (dark roast), “Oh.My.GAWD!” (cold brew blend), “Gunther!” (espresso), and “Moo Point” (decaf).
