On Friday night, the fandom community and the world at large was blindsided by the news that actor Chadwick Boseman, who made an immeasurable cultural impact in the role of T’Challa/The Black Panther, died at the age of 43 from a private battle with colon cancer.
Boseman appeared as T’Challa in a total of four Marvel Studios movies — Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
