Sticking to your New Year’s exercising resolutions can be tough, but Chipotle is here to spice up your workout with some healthy competition!

Chipotle and the active tracker app Strava have teamed up to bring back the epic City Challenge for another year. In this worldwide challenge, participants run, walk, hike, cycle, or even wheel their wheelchairs through designated segments of trails and roads created by the Strava community. Until Jan. 31, participants can log their activity in the Strava app and compete with other athletes on the leaderboard for a fun way to be healthy, happy, and active in the new year.

The City Challenge isn’t about who blitzes through the courses the fastest but who works the hardest. The participant who logs the most miles on their segment between now and the end of January will reach coveted Local Legend Status and receive free Chipotle Lifestyle Bowls for a year. From Miami and New York City to London and Paris, millions of people from around the world can motivate and inspire each other to keep pushing, even when the terrain gets rough!

Following last year’s incredible success, with participants logging over 9.25 million miles worth of segments, the number of Chipotle segments has expanded to a whopping 25 cities across four different countries! To celebrate the expansion, every city that houses a Chipotle segment will also compete to bring free Chipotle bowls back to their hometown. The city whose segment collects the highest mileage throughout the month-long challenge will score a BOGO entrée deal for the entire city. Exercising has never been more neighborly!

Don’t throw in the towel just yet if you’re struggling to keep your resolutions! For the third year in a row, Chipotle is turning “Quitters Day,” the dreaded second Friday of January where resolutions tend to fizzle, into “No Quitters Day.” This year, Chipotle is starting a text campaign titled “Goals, Gym, Guac” to encourage fans not to give up on their health goals. From now until Jan. 9, fans can visit chipotle.com/lsb-text to receive motivational texts, affirmations, exclusive content, and even the chance to score a free Chipotle bowl — because your health is too legit to quit!
