Chronicle Books has assembled more surprises in its ongoing collaboration with the LEGO Group. After bringing LEGO creativity to books, puzzles, stationary, games, and more starting in 2020, Chronicle Books is introducing more fun for brick enthusiasts.
First, The Art of the Minifigure by Brian Barrett ($35) is a guidebook that celebrates the history, design, and timelessness of one of the most recognizable toys — the LEGO minifigure. The guide features interviews and essays, stunning photography, and exclusive visuals straight from the LEGO archives.
Next, Build Every Day: Ignite Your Creativity and Find Your Flow by Alec Posta ($16.95) offers inspirational lessons on creativity, perspective, and process taught through LEGO building. Each illustrated chapter in this book explores one of these concepts and includes a building prompt that puts the concept into practice. For example, the Build Every Day chapter encourages daily creativity and prompts the reader to set a timer and build every day for a week.
Speaking of creativity, the Master Builder Notebook ($16.95, pictured top) is the perfect place to plan, write, sketch, and dream up new ideas with lined, grid, and dotted pages. This guided notebook is also filled with LEGO facts, quotes, building prompts, and goal trackers to encourage LEGO lovers on their way to becoming Master Builders.
Aspiring Master Builders can also keep track of their journey with the 2023 LEGO Daily Builds Calendar ($15.99, pictured top). This full-color calendar offers daily prompts and fresh building ideas for LEGO builders of all skill levels. These daily prompts require no new sets as builders can use the LEGO bricks they already own.
The LEGO 2023 Wall Calendar ($14.99), meanwhile, features a modern twist on classic LEGO bricks and themes with monthly images of bold brick-based designs, minifigure compositions, and patterns.
Finally, the IDEAS Minifigure Space Mission 1,000-Piece Puzzle ($17.95) is out of this world. This puzzle features a winning design of fan submissions and votes from LEGO Ideas and has a clever space theme.
LEGO builders can celebrate their love for bricks with all of these new products, which are available to preorder from the Chronicle Books website and major retailers now. These products are all expected to ship by the end of the year.
