This week feels a little bit (OK, a lot) like the opening chapters of a dystopian novel, with closures and cancelations running rampant and social distancing becoming our new normal. But this weekend, fandom apparel company Hero Within launched a special shirt to help remind the global community how important it is to support each other during these unprecedented times, even when we have to be physically distant.
The shirt reads “Stand Together at a Social Distance” and features a map of the world. A portion of the proceeds from this shirt will go to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. This fund helps the WHO coordinate its global effort to prevent, detect, and respond to the pandemic.
