There are only two more weekends until October, which means that New York Comic Con (NYCC) is almost here! Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant revealed their anniversary-themed exclusives for the con this weekend.
The companies will also present a panel in room 1C03 at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. Diamond Select and Gentle Giant will showcase new products, including three NYCC exclusives and other recent con exclusives — so grab these items while they’re hot at booth No. 1644.
Real Ghostbusters Scared Mr. Stay-Puft Action Figure ($20)
He’s a sailor, he’s in New York, and he’s headed for NYCC! This 8-inch action figure of Mr. Stay-Puft, the Marshmallow Man, is fully articulated and features an exclusive “scared” head sculpt. This action figure is packaged in a full-color box with a fifth-panel window flap. This version of Mr. Stay-Puft was designed by Yuri Tming and sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios, and is limited to 500 pieces.
DC Comic Vinimates Batman Who Laughs Black-and-White Vinyl Figure ($20)
One of the creepiest characters to debut in DC Comics in recent years is the Batman Who Laughs. Now, the evil Bat-Joker from the Dark Multiverse returns to the Vinimates line in a completely black-and-white version. This figure was designed by Barry Bradfield and is limited to 250 pieces.
Godzilla Vinimates Mechagodzilla Glow-in-the-Dark Vinyl Figure ($10)
Being glow-in-the-dark makes everything cooler. This exclusive 4-inch vinyl figure of Mechagodzilla is totally glow-in-the-dark! Is it radioactive? Who cares! Put him on your shelf and let him glow you to sleep at night. The figure was designed by Barry Bradfield and is limited to 250 pieces.
